The new identifier Circle designed for MHI extends the established visual equity of Manitoba Hydro’s “trident” symbol to a global sphere.

Manitoba Hydro International (MHI) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Manitoba Hydro, Canada’s 4th largest electric utility. With the mandate of exporting the skills, knowledge, and products of Manitoba Hydro, MHI has successfully delivered services to more than 90 client organizations in over 50 countries in the past 20 years.
In the process of assisting MHI with strategic planning of its international marketing efforts and the development of a credible worldwide presence, it became obvious that an updated visual identity was required. Circle designed a new corporate identifier that builds on the visual equity of Manitoba Hydro’s brand while also introducing a global context.
