Art for the Masses

Wanda Koop is a distinguished painter, a Member of the Order of Canada, and was recently listed by TIME Magazine as one of Canada’s best artists. Her painting and video career spans three decades and includes over 50 solo exhibitions around the world. Though well known internationally and in fine art circles, much of the general public in North America has not been as aware of her remarkable work.

Circle was engaged to help Wanda increase her visibility and to develop reproductions for sale in gallery shops. Project scope entailed the design of a distinctive logotype, design of several sets of collectible lithographic posters featuring her colossal paintings, design of souvenir card sets, and the development of promotional literature for the artist. Special reproduction features included state-of-the-art stochastic screening and special fluorescent touch-plates for optimal colour fidelity.
