Ruth Cansfield is known for making dance that is pure, distinct and expressive. She draws inspiration from the power, beauty and isolation of the Canadian prairies to create dance that has been described as timeless, yet vibrantly contemporary. Her style is described as “A language of dance that viscerally reflects contemporary sensibility… inspired, generous and introspective.”
On an annual basis, Circle has designed impactful posters and promotional flyers (ganged for economy of scale in production) for this distinctive dance troupe. Larger base runs in full colour are later imprinted with specific tour information and trimmed to final size. Photos by Mirek Weichsel.
